Oh, by the kiss of death I mean.. .we should all realize, this defense can still actually get worse. Lets not go into that well we cant possibly get any worse mode... our front office tends to take talk like that as a challenge after all.

we need talent there for sure but what if you have a game changing RB at 17 ? (cook ) do you grab the guy or do you reach for the defensive player , or do you think a zach cunningham is just as good ?

also in round 4 does a speed wr like coley of miami interest you if we go RB, def def def , the wr with the second 4th ?

getting a good DC is important but getting him talent too is important . do you think that draft order could accomplish a piece of this ?

YOu know me Skinsdad, Im not even going to start really calling how I think we address the draft until after I see what we haul in Fre Agency.

Right now we appear to need to go heavy Defense and also need a RB and some WR help.

But of we resign one of our WR's and bring in some young D-line talent and a good DC, that might change how we look at the draft as well.

I'd be happy with Gus, I also believe the defense was better suited for a 3-4 look in Jacksonville.
With the roster we have, 4-3 may be the way to go. We have depth at Dline, and FA or the draft has some
depth at linebacker. I'd prefer Gus over Steve, especially since we already passed on Sean from Carolina.

He sounds like a pretty good defensive coaching guy from the article.

I know none of the players of which you spoke. I can't imagine we don't look to the draft for some defensive help. I also think we have to use FA though and I'm not talking about signing career STers or career back ups. I mean someone who's proven Like DJ Swearinger who's shown he's capable of playing both FS and SS. He'll be eligible in FA, but I doubt he comes cheap.

I can't find it now and I thought the kid's last name was Kelsey or something like that. But I read an article that said the Skins were eyeballing an LSU safety with their top pick.

The only player I've been able to find today that fits the LSU safety criteria is Jamal Adams. Citrus Bowl: top 2017 NFL draft prospects

Sounds like a real possibility that he won't be availabe at the Skins pick though according to the above article.
