Today at noon the Skins have a meeting with NG, Joe Lunchmeat. He played his ball at the University of Palookaville. Than at 3 pm they see DT Sammy Sausagehead who was 2nd team conference when he played at Never Was Has-been State. Reports are the Skins are hoping to sign both players today and get em to work soon as possible.

Cooley also brutalized Bruton (deservedly so) and gave him a 4.2. Bruton's not good at football. Well done Cooley.

Interesting how many FA's we have flaming out, especially on the D-line.

If they weren't journeymen, injury prone or aging "used to be" type guys they likely wouldn't be FA's. Maybe there's a gentlemen's agreement among GM's but one noticeable thing that I see happening every year are lists of FA's from every team filled with young up and coming players. Despite that, rarely do we see other GM's go after these guys. They are usually resigned by their current teams to second contracts. I'd much rather take a chance on these guys than most FA's because your developmental / practice guys might become my starter.
