I already called it stupid and brought up the fact that Gumbs got benched for Rambo after Rambo got benched.

i wouldnt go that far . i am sure we could use jarvis jenkins , thomas and rambo hank or a robinson could have a role as could keenon robinson

It's interesting that this cut comes now. If he never figured into their plans, why not cut him during free agency? Or why not hang onto him in case of injury or suspension before the final cuts?

This tells me that either they have seen something in someone else (UDFA maybe?) or they know something is coming (like a suspension). Timing is very suspect.

Could be. But they really don't know what they have with Jackson. He hasn't play a down in over 2 years. I find it curious that they would cut Gumbs due to Jackson. Gumbs, while never will be a starter, at least contributed on STs. Rambo didn't even do that.

well if rambo , and others dont do it (b jenkins?) then they could be simply cut as well

i think rambo will surprise some in year 2 but if he doesnt he will be a 6th rounder who gets cut

I think both of them are in real danger of being cut. STs is where they can find a home until their games can develop better.

rambo getting cut would hopefully mean jackson is back to being a football player again .

i think clark is done as an effective player at FS . his knowledge will have to win the day

as for jenkins year 2 should be big for him . he competition would be jackson (who does play special teams ) so he needs to force the coaches to keep him
