I’m not whining about a damn thing, cock gobbler.

The real point is that this has been going on for decades. No need get all cranky about it now that the reality has reached the Red Sox.

“Whaaaa! How come the Red Sox can’t hand out a half million dollars worth of shit contacts and continue on with business as usual? It’s a travesty!”

Give me a fucking break. Those pigs built their house of sticks, and it’s fallen down. We don’t need the ladies crying because the story’s sad.

Yes. We all know that this has been going on for years. That's the point!!! It's not that anyone should feel a drop of pity for the Red Sox. The Red Sox should be criticized for trading a 27 year old future Hall of Famer for a relatively small amount of salary relief.

No, they should be criticized for handing out a half million dollars worth of shit contacts, which caused them to have to trade a 27 year old future HOFer.

dombroski is the luckiest retard in baseball. He caused this and other calamities and yet is considered a solid front office guy. Now the Red Sox are being criticized for cleaning up the mess he left. It’s nonsense.

The Red Sox knew what they were going to get with Dombrowski. He's considered a solid front office guy because he's won 2 World Series with 2 different teams. Of course the team pays a heavy price for those titles.

I disagree that the only way for them to fix the salary issues was to get rid of their best player.

Hence the luckiest retard in baseball.

overpay for any good FA’s. Trade away the farm system. Leave franchise in shambles.

It will be interesting to see if Bryant is traded now, although it's a little different than the Betts situation because now they determined he has an extra year before free agency.

Guys this trade happened cause of black history month and Jackie Robinson. Sox traded 2 black players. Cut 42 million in salary, Jackie wore #42 as well. Traded to Jackie’s team

I guess trading the bambino wasn't enough, the red sox felt the need to trade away a second generational talent for peanuts.

This is a terrible terrible trade for the Red Sox.

Betts might be the best player in baseball, non-Trout division.

I get that Betts wouldn't do an extension but the Sox have as deep pockets as anyone in baseball.

well the Phillies got a 4th round pick for Harper, that might make it look better

Betts to the Dodgers was expected. Wish though Boston had gotten a better return. Verdugo's going to be a good player but a guy like Betts you'd expect a higher return.

Sources: Prospect's exam holding up Betts trade

The deal, which would send Betts and Price to the Dodgers, outfielder Alex Verdugo and pitching prospect Brusdar Graterol to the Boston Red Sox and starter Kenta Maeda to the Minnesota Twins, was not completed Wednesday after being agreed upon Tuesday night. The Red Sox, sources said, were spooked by a medical review of Graterol, the hard-throwing 21-year-old right-hander who has undergone Tommy John surgery and missed time in 2019 because of a shoulder injury.
Alternative options to complete a deal exist, according to sources. The players involved could be amended, as could the amount of money Boston is sending to Los Angeles to cover a portion of the $96 million still owed Price. The Dodgers and Red Sox could theoretically opt for a two-team deal or involve a different third team; Graterol is currently with the Twins.
