Well, this is going to be a little awkward.
Tonight is “Marlon Byrd t-shirt night” at Citi Field, except the Mets just traded Byrd and John Buck to the Pirates.
If the Mets change the “6″ to a “43″ on the back of all the shirts they could pretend it’s “Paul Byrd t-shirt night” and honor the retired right-hander who threw 68 innings for them in 1995/1996. Hey, just trying to troubleshoot here.

Welcome to my life Hammer. I become a "football widower" of sorts, as my wife is all gung ho for football, and I could take it or leave it.

In fact, I am now looking forward to sleeping through the Sunday early games........

Oh well, there is always the Arizona Fall League. Maybe I will make another trek and blog about it?

If you think that is bad, then think about how it is to also have zero interest in any college sports, none for MMA, none for Soccer, and none for hockey.

Lucky for me, baseball has the longest season, and, that I can and do catch games in AZ in the fall, and in the spring.
