I can't preach how many times I said how good this kid is going to be one day. How he would be the better hitter than Heyward. He's pretty much going to be a 20 HR guy who drives in runs. You'll never see a 40 HR season from him. Plus he has an excellent glove, his range needs some work. But he's still a few years away from his prime.

Braves future>>>>>>>>>your teams future

Yup. Hes special. Hit a moon shot I thought was gone last night

I got that beast Gattis in every league also

He's doing a good job of getting him at bats actually

He doesn't suck.....he just should be a platoon player. He can't hit lefties, at all.

.237 for his career vs lefties

.252 vs lefty starters

that last one, not terrible...bad, not terrible

Mike Moose Feces might be available to play 3B for you guys, no? I'm sure the Royals would let you borrow him.

Really Hammer? That down on Headley? Thought he was in his way and he is just dinger up this season, but you'd know better

I'm not devaluing him but allot of fans are going to get even madder if we pretend like we're contending for the division and end up losing him to free agency. If he's smart, and I think he is, he'll wait for free agency and get $100M. That is if he can bust out of this 1-25 slump and get back to at least .290 on the season.

If the Padres could replace our two worst starting pitchers with >3 ERA lefties, we'd instantly be contending in the NL West. We're close as it is.

You're not the first to say that. That throw from the wall while backpeddling to double up Denorfia was nothing short of incredible.

That throw from RF made me think of Mondesi right away. WOW! There might be like 5 guys I have seen who can make a throw like that. Mondesi, Vlad Guerrero, Jose Guillen, Ankiel, Dwight Evans....maybe a couple others??

$900 for the season, which includes uniforms, helmet, bag,10 tournaments, and a league

says he cant afford it, so i kick in $300 and the coach kicks in $300. we ask for the other $300 and they say they cant afford it

thats what we get getting a kid from the hood

When they were coming through the minors, was I the only one who thought Freddie Freeman was black and Jason Heyward was white? Imagine my surprise!! It might have only been topped when I found out Troy O'Leary was black.

P.S. How much range does your 1B need, anyway?

Quarterbacks
Tom Brad
y -- New England Patriots ($31M cash; $13.8M cap): OK, so $31 million in the first year of a redone deal is a lot of money, but for arguably the best quarterback of all time, it's still a steal when you consider he will earn just $26 million, total, over the final four years of this deal. On an average-per-year basis, Brady makes $9 million, which puts him 15th among all quarterbacks. Let that set in.

They're not my words...

And Brady's combination of stats, wins, rings and MVPs... Nobody piles it on as high and deep as he does.

And the only reason it's even up for debate? Because Asante Samuel and Wes Welker hated catching balls that hit them square in the mitts...
