Been hearing it for a decade. If the kids of all the Hispanics actually voted that might be the case, but they all come from Mexico where government is insanely corrupt so they they are already apathetic voters. I've studied the dog shit out of the demographics and it blows my mind how little they vote.
Texans in general don't vote...look at the embarrassing turnout for the gubernatorial election the last few cycles.
The most conservative Latino voting block resides in Texas.
Pious Catholics don't tend to vote for pro choice candidates though.
Wins are meh.
