I think I have played it 4 times in total. Maybe 5, I'm not sure. This game in terms of story is on par with "The Last of Us" which is the best game I have played purely based on story.
There were promos at the home screen for a while. I might have seen it advertised on slickdeals too.
If you bought digital copies of 360 games they're available too. That's how I have access to Fallout New Vegas but not all of my digital 360 content shows up unfortunately.
I'd probably rank it #1 overall in story but probably wouldn't break my top 50 in gameplay. Overall it's a fantastic game, though.
Gameplay is nothing groundbreaking but you can't deny the fun it is to go hunting or anything else.
I like the gameplay a fair amount. Its like GTA where the setting pulls you in to the action and at first the combat is a bit jarring because it ends up being more about mastering the camera and utilizing things at the right moment. In both games the combat works because the setting is so compelling and the sandbox is so big that you have the options to do things in more than one way.
Please tell me you didn't ride horses everywhere and you know about campfires.
Yeah, I know about campfires though I probably did spend too much time riding horses around and/or randomly hunting animals.
