not a recruiting geek, but that offensive line looks terrible.

LOL yeah it would appear that way... But then you realize every play is a screen, draw, or dump off.

He's got some shake n' bake en sech. Looks like this was his freshman tape?

Why do ye want to know about him Tom?

It's a kid I coached in H.S. who is playing CC ball and I am trying to help him earn a scholly to a 4 year school.

I don't see anything special about him at all. For the most part, he drops when he is hit, every HS team in the nation has one or two just like him. Why does he have a highlight video at all?

That said, he could start in DII or DIII.

Well he's the best player on the field in this tape. Depends on the level of competition.

He's pretty small.

If he's doing this to D1 feeder schools maybe he will get a look.

Kinda my thinking.
I think he does a good job of making the first guy miss. There some plays in there where he finishes well too.

Then it shouldn't be too hard, as long as he is not expecting a D1 scholly. Have him try with the Georgia Southerns / Alabama States of the world. The higher end schools might not take him, but the lowers will. WHo knows, GA Southern probably would since they have the option package back. His speed might get him an A Back position. In fact, from what I saw on his film, that would be a great position for his skills.

LOL he said be gentle.

And every HS in the nation does not have a RB that can cut like that.

I disagree with you saying he drops when hit. In the middle of the tape I saw him running pretty well between the tackles and brushing off arm tackles.

Yes he is small. 5'9" and about 190.

The kid has overcome a lot of adversity and poor decisions in his young life. Former Baltimore gang member who found football and now is trying to make a good future for himself.

Fine. I will edit....

Every HS in the SOUTH has a RB or two just like him.

Well best of luck to him keep us updated.

That's not THAT small. I know of a freshman feller who was 5' 9 180 comin out of HS who led the nation in KR yards through the first half of the season...

An arm tackle is nothing to break. It's the yards gained after the first HIT, not ARM tackle that recruiters want to see.

Don't get me wrong, I think he can go D2. But D1 is out, I think - I didn't see that scholly on his tape.
