I think he just looks a little hesitant out there. At times he looks like he wants to make a big cut, but then he hesitates and ends up getting wrapped up.

My advice to the kid would be to go out there knowing that you are the best player on the field. Watch some videos of Reggie Bush when he played at USC.......notice how the guy never hesitated, he just believed he was the best player out there and followed his instincts.

Good point. The great ones never hesitate.

I'm not going to be gentle, I am going to tell it how it is. He looks like a pussy who is afraid to dish out a hit to the defender and always looks to run to the sidelines.

Sorry lol, but that's how I truly feel.

Not knowing the level of competition out there, I can't be nearly as harsh on him.

Positives

Seeks running lanes (awareness)
Runs through arm tackles
Makes people miss
Keeps his legs pumping in traffic
Decent concentration
Decent hands
Decent effort

Apparent Drawbacks

Speed, burst

Size, but that's up to the individual to overcome in development. Sproles/Sanders etc..never let size hold them back.

Hopefully he can get in somewhere where he can have a positive experience, develop some good memories, and get a good education for his future.

Thanks.

I think the last half of the tape is better than the first half. My only goal is to get the kid an education he doesn't have to pay for. He has the grades to qualify for educational scholly's. A partial for football would help tremendously.
Contacting some NAIA schools in the area, plus have some connections at larger schools that may want to follow him this next season. This was only his second season of football, so there is room to grow. Wish I knew his 40 time though....

Nope, I want a bruising back to come to Nebraska. Don't get me wrong I love burkhead, but the last super physical running back we've had that was fun to see lay the wood was Castillo :(

No expert but my opinion:

Pros:
-seems to have a quick first step

-seems to have decent (not great not terrible) shake to him

-Good hands and can get open in the passing game

Cons:

- doesnt seem to have that "quick twitch" you like to see in RB's his size

- doesnt have elite speed or burst in the open field

- Would like to see him break a few more tackles

Honestly seems to be a good HS rb but prob not going to make a D1 roster (hope this isnt your kid), but if he has all the other stuff (grades etc) in order could prob make a D2-3 roster.

I actually think Imani looks better in his high school vids than Ahman did in his...........but then again, Ahman Green was like a 2-star RB coming out of high school

Ahman just simply turned out to be much better than anyone expected. He worked very hard at improving everything he needed to improve, and was just simply awesome.

Tis why ill take a low star running back like ahman or abdullah that has the work ethic and the want to be great over a 5* like aaron green who thinks everything should fall in his lap
