It doesn't matter if the Eagles have a better running back or wide receivers or defense. As long as they're disadvantaged at QB, they ain't winning.

Might as well just give the trophy to the Chiefs right now. First time in nearly 20 years I won't be watching the Super Bowl.

I'm not watching either. I hate the Eagles, hate the Chefs even more, and they've lined up more Rap Crap to avoid at halftime. Think I'll stay home and grill some steaks.

I'm glad the GF doesn't want to watch to "see the commercials." Do women still do that? How long has it been since they stopped making ads that were worth watching?

Eagles have a chance, they have a dominant D-line and can rely on pressure with their front 4 which is huge, they’re the number one D in the league.. The edition of Barkley was a massive for taking pressure off Hurts… This is a good Eagles team … KC’s defense has been playing good also though, their run D has been solid, plus the Mahomes factor, we all need to appreciate how effin clutch that dude is… He’s a rare talent for sure … This is a great matchup, I think it’s gonna be a good Super Bowl ….

Read that both teams are better defensively and not as good offensively from their 1st Super Bowl meeting Feb 2023.

Chiefs scored 32 points vs Bills Sunday... that is most points they scored all year (prior was 30 vs Carolina and Bucs).

# 2 and #4 scoring defenses in league this year... over/under at 49.5.. if more points are scored than that, I do not think it is too much more.

Then again.... Reid has 2 weeks to prepare so I could see KC offense maybe clicking some more... (Sirianni as well has 2 weeks... but unsure if that is good or bad for Eagles ).

Interestingly... both these teams played AFCN and NFCS... so 8 common opponents

• Philly 6-2 (2 early losses Falcons and Bucs)
• KC 8-0 (many close games)

I think this will be good close game into the 4th... think Philly needs to rush for 160+ yards to win this game.

The Achilles heel of the Chiefs defense is different than it was two years ago. Two years ago, the weakest part of the defense was against runs up the middle. Now its deep passes up the middle. As a whole I do think its better.

The big thing with the Eagles offense is the addition of Barkley and the subtraction of J Kelce. Im not sure thats a worse offense on paper. Teams just have more film on the Eagles and defenses adjust.

IIRC all five OL played excellent against the Eagles 2 years ago in the SB. This year, they have Joe Thuney out at LT. The LG is replacement level but thats better than a replacement level LT. So they're probably average at LT and RT, subpar at LG, great at C and RG. Thats a downgrade for KC. The Chiefs WR corp is better, though. Hollywood Brown and Xavier Worthy add a very real speed component.

Eagles defense in general is the big variable. Loads of young talent there. On paper its the best unit. KC has to prove that wrong.

I think the Eagles definitely have a chance, they’ve got a great RB, a stellar O-Line, two very good receivers and a solid D at each level. How well Hurts plays is definitely a key, and their D will need to find a way to disrupt Mahomes and company, it will be interesting to see how their secondary matches up with the Chiefs receivers. I think the Eagles have a slightly more complete team than the Chiefs actually, the Chiefs have an amazing QB in Mahomes though and they are very clutch and well coached and great at finding ways to win. I think it’s really a toss up game.

Yeah, KC outcoached the Eagles last time. Guys like Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore shouldnt be winning SBs. That, and KCs OL held up against what was the best pass rush in football.

I can definitely see the argument that both teams are probably better. After seeing how well Cook played against the Chiefs, I think Barkley is a huge issue.

I think it's actually better in terms of roster strength, imo! Defense is more mature and they've stabilized things offensively with Brown returning from IR and Thuney at LT. Mahomes' ankle is also healthy. Was definitely a grind in the middle of the regular season.

this is true...the Chiefs D is stout...but I think Barkley still has his way with them.

2 weeks for the Eagles OL to get healthy will be nice
