Yeah I used to have hundreds of paperbacks, and when traveling it became a necessary nuisance to carry 3-4 books to read. And I’d always buy a couple more news ones on the way. Took up a lot of space and added weight, even so, swore I’d never use that Kindle thing … but here we are. You can have all your titles in one little gadget — actually don’t even carry that around anymore, use the Kindle app on mobile phone.

Ill tried to convert me to no avail. Don’t travel, and I use the library.

I still have some good books, hard-cover, that I read in a very comfortable chair. Hard to beat that. Turning the pages manually is a good feeling

I sit in my great grandfathers chair. With a cat in my lap. And a cuppa coffee beside me. Doesn’t get any better than that.

Cats are funny creatures. Dogs are better. Reacher loves dogs, which is good thing.

S2 so far has been enjoyable.

Side characters aren't as interesting as last season, I also think few things are being foreshadowed that I'm curious about

Been a good season so far. If they can avoid a ridiculous shootout like the end to last season it would be great.

I believe that was mostly in book

I haven't read this one (I've read first 4 then quit) so not sure what's in book

thought newest episode was pretty good

Russo ending made no sense though. So they drop the daughter off, Russo is going to his cousin, and just sits in driveway and waits until Reacher and crew are far away, then when leaving he notices a car tailing him.

Ridiculous shootouts are why I watch this stuff. If I wanted realism I'd watch youtube clips.

Well I also watch youtube clips.

I'm able to overlook stuff. Shotguns getting racked 3 times with no shell ejecting. Things get real and guy jacks the slide on his handgun, like dude no one goes into a situation like that without one already in the chamber, especially not a trained cop or CIA assassin.

Old westerns were the greatest. I once saw John Wayne shoot 13 shots out of a single action 6 shooter without reloading. Also lots of promiscuous jacking of the lever on lever actions and no shell coming out.

I don't need John Wayne movies for this.

yea man. The old action movies were great and all but I'd like a lot more realism in my stuff. Some people like escapism..
to each his own.

Decent finish and season but a few holes (too be expected)
AM was a worthless a villian, he just drives around and hangs out in airport and gets shot by gang without putting up a fight. Nelly sees them loading helicopter, has a sniper and is crack shot, but suddenly forgets she has a sniper rifle? Langston for reasons unknown doesn't kill Reacher, he instead beats him for a bit and like so many tropes leaves him for him only to escape his bindings and kill everyone. Shaw thing was very predictable. I think episode would've been more powerful had one of the characters died. I think overall the source book didn't provide enough material for 8 episodes and from what I read, they diverted from books after e3, but eh. I enjoyed it, easy to watch, but could've been better. Also didn't think NYC was a great setting [/spoilers]
