That 'suspect defense' we discussed a week or 2 ago on here ... yup it's legit.

Skunk head at 3rd base doesn't even make a throw on the bunt he was so out of position to defend against it.
Then Julio guns the advancing runner out at 3rd and the aforementioned skunk head falls back on his keester trying to catch a perfect 1 hopper and takes himself out of the play with no chance to get a tag down

Suarez is one of my least favorite regular lineup guys.

I'll say it. I miss Seager.

I like this kid. Great stuff two years in a row. And not many starters throwing 100+.

Yeah, we've been seeing some buzz saws lately. Tampa obviously has great starters, Miami has some under the radar monsters, and obviously Verlander. Gotta take advantage of the "just good" guys though.

Suarez can surely hit 25 HRs with 600 ab's - seeing as how every hack he takes he is swinging for the fences.
If he hits anywhere near .250 to go along with 25 HRs and 90 or so rbi - I think that is his ceiling, from what I am seeing.

Another Mariner acquisition who was early to ripe and early to rotten.

We are losing all the 1 run games that were W's last year. Makes a noticeable difference in the teams record for sure.
