Maybe activate Rush? He isn't good in run situations but this team could also really use some pass rushing help on passing downs so why not give Rush a shot.

That will probably happen in a back up scenario. I still see them putting out Hodges first...who has played well when he was in.

The 49ers activated Skov from the Practice Squad, probably to take Wilhoite's place on special teams.

Good idea. He performed well in camp and pre-season games.

Wilhoite and Hodges are redundant IMO. Both are ok against the run without the athleticism to be able to work in space well enough to be considered even average in pass defense. This is a scary proposition unless we plan on running a 3-3-3 with Tartt coming up as a run stopper/3rd safety.

Yes they did. From what I've read he is going to take Wilhoite's spot on Special Teams since Wilhoite wiill be taking snaps with the defense. He was third string before Armstrong's injury

This a big loss....Ray Ray had a very underrated athleticism he was definitely the second best ILB and allowed the defense a lot of flexibility....he will be missed.
