The D was amazing tonight. Especially the first 2 and a half quarters. Those two fuck ups by Jones and Slater and shook the team for a minute but they got it together.

This game should of been a blow out.

It was great to see the D stop several times, from the beginning to the end. Ravens had few big plays and the ones that resulted in 14-points took 90 seconds off the clock, mistakes that will not be committed again. It was a very rare display of 2 mistakes in a row, both by ST receivers.

Would have been nice to blow the stool pigeons out - but no dice. Thanks $%&ing Cyrus and Slater. I wouldn't mind seeing Cyrus back to being a healthy scratch for the remainder of the season and postseason. But someone needs to challenge that stiff, Logan Ryan for a spot. Ryan, without a doubt, has absolutely no instincts for playing corner. He's a friggin target every game.

This was the first game I was impressed with this year. let's hope they're on a slide in the right direction.
Nice to see a dominating performance.

The defense was outstanding from the opening play.

Brady was the problem when he threw that stupid INT. He should have taken the sack and the Pats would have had a 19-3 lead. He tried to throw the ball out of the back of the end zone while falling......horrible decision.

Cyrus Jones should be cut. He can't play CB. He proved last night that he's just plain S-T-U-P-I-D !!!!!! He had to hop around and dis and dat to avoid touching a punt, then he does exactly the same fucking thing and gets hit on the foot. Worse yet, he didn't immediately dive on the ball. Instead he lets the Ravens recover it on the 3. He is the biggest liability on this team.

Slater.....I really can't blame him for his fumble. He was stood up by two ravens and then hit by three more. He's really not a WR or kick returner. I give Belichick 60% of the blame because he has many more sure handed guys available. I'd rather see Blount return kicks than Slater or Jones.

Maybe the coaches learned a lesson last night.....if you don't have experienced guys returning kicks, either down them in the end zone and take the ball on the 25 or fair catch the damn things on every punt.

I taped the whole game last night (can't watch it live or my wife gets on me about yelling at the TV). Will watch it today. I felt really bad for Cyrus Jones. The kid came into the league with big expectations and his rookie season has been a disaster. If Rowe is ready to go against the Broncos, I expect Jones to be a healthy scratch. I still think he is salvagable. Remember how bad Kevin Faulk looked earlier in his career with the fumbling and he became a solid RB. I was hoping there would be something after the game about that kid with the terminal brain tumor. Would be great if the Pats invited him to all their remaining games, including the playoffs.

It's hard to coach up stupid. Stupid is as stupid does. I'm not sure he's salvageable in a BB system? He's been struggling all year. Why even get near that ball?
I was hoping TB would go find him after the game and give him the ball. What an inspiration that young man is. I'm sure TB would've joked about getting MB a touch down in the 3rd not the 4th.

The thing with Jones is not talent, it's all in his head. That punt off his foot has nothing to do with talent, it's him not getting out of his own way and just playing football. This kid is talented. He made a nice play at the end of the game chasing Smith across the field to prevent him from getting the first. He has no issues in practice from what I read. It's all a head game with him. He played at Bama and was great, untalented kids don't succeed in Bama and get drafted in the 2nd rd. I will still take him over Ryan at this point, man he is just fucking dumb. Love to get Rowe back this week and put him on DT, although Ryan has been very good vs DT in the past. Butler on Sanders with some help, maybe?

Ghost struggled all yr and is just as much of a liability, if not more.....you want him cut too?

You're saying it as well he's dumb. So yes he needs to go if he's holding up a spot for a player who can help this team win. One of the reasons he was selected that high was his ability to return kicks. Which he hasn't been able to do consistently.

Was it him or Jonathan Jones who made that tackle? I thought it was Jonathan? I'll have to go back and rewatch it.

As for Ghost he's struggled but it wasn't because he was being stupid. He's seemed to have gotten it figured out? At least I hope so? Ifnot you bet BB is already looking for his replacement next year.

BB is not looking for his replacement, come on. If Dobson can make it 3 yrs with this team, I am pretty sure Jones will make it next yr. I don't think he is dumb, smart people make mistakes and overthink all the time. Edelman could not field a punt when he first got here. I remember watching him in camp drop ball after ball, yet he is still here. I use to call Kevin Faulk, Fumbling Faulk, yet for some reason he figured it out. These thinks can be corrected. If they can't, then he is dumb. Maybe Ghost is dumb, maybe he can't figure out what way the wind is pushing...IDK. The kid fucked up, I am not ready to move on. BB is the dumb one for trusting him out there.

I saw Jones run that guy down. I loved that effort. That was #31 Jonathan Jones.

I hope Cyrus Jones gets it together. You are right, he is a talent. Which is why BB keeps putting him out there.

How does Jones still have a job? I mean BB has cut players for a hell of a lot less and Jones has fumbled what 6 times already? Yet still has a job. Brady throwing the INT was completely idiotic and completely stupid by him and inexcusable. He is much smarter than that. It nearly cost the game imo. The defense was outstanding, too bad the scoreboard doesn't show it (thanks for the special teams)

It's one thing to not catch the ball on a punt/kick. It's another to lose the handle or have a defender knock it out of your hands. It's a whole different story not knowing when to fair catch or get away from the ball, and unfortunately Cyrus has done this multiple times.

BB needs to find a fix for returns. If goes into the end zone, kneel and take the ball at the 25. Fair catch punts.

White and Lewis....all we need for KO. Put JE11 back there and just call for a fair catch. It's not like Edelman has not fumbled his fair share this yr.
