Monday Night Football................This is gonna be a long week. Possibly a longer weekend.

Ravens seemed to have found some of their old defensive magic. We'll see if TB has an antidote. Pats defense did a few new things that seemed to work and maybe they can pull some of the same stunts against the Ravens.

These two always play each other tough and tight. This might be a TUMS night for fans on both sides.

I am worried about the Ravens defense. This will be a real serious test for our OL. Also the following week in Denver.

Yep but NE needs a good test. Hopefully they show up to play and with a better game plan then they did for the Seattle game.
Guess I'd rather see what NE has now then get surprised in the playoffs.

More concerned with Flacco tossing is deep and getting those easy PI calls....I mean it's what he does best and the Refs wills call PI no matter what. Good test for these CB with Wallace, Smith, Aiken. Good TE too. Gonna be a battle for sure. We're about to see how good this defense really is.....

#1 rushing defense...

Does that mean BB will pound it down their throat?

Brady is hitting 68.9% of his passes. He's averaging 310 yards and 2.375 TDs per game.
Blount is averaging 80 yards per game and 1 TD.

If they just perform to their per game averages, that's 21 points.

Mistakes will be the determining factor in this game. If Brady isn't intercepted and the Patriots don't fumble, then the Final score should be 27-21. The same is true for the Ravens. This year, the better the defense against the Patriots they better their offensive performance has been.

Team stats:

PPG Total Yds Passing Rushing
Ravens 21.3 347 258 89.7
Patriots 26.6 387 270.2 117.2

This game should have been the Sunday Night game, not a 4:25 normal game.

I see Brady and CO spreading it out with 5WR or 4WR with Bennett in to block. NE has the ability to put a lot of speed on the field this week with JE, White, Lewis. Going to be interesting. Balt seems to be getting hot at the right time.

IMO, defense is going to have to play lights out. Might be an issue if Rowe can't go, so that would mean Coleman would take over as the 4th CB. I think Cy Jones would lineup across from Butler and Ryan in the slot. Butler will be on Wallace all day to match his speed, and I think that is a good match-up for him. BIG concerns with Pitta vs any LB on this team. Might see him have a big day unless Chung can shut him down. Biggest thing for this defense is to not getting those BS PI calls that Joey seems to get called 2/3x a game....ya know, when MR Elite just chucks it down field....

Can't believe I am even going to say this but pulling for the Patriots tomorrow. Good luck and remind Flacco that he is nothing more than just an average QB

Might be a hat and T-shirt game, so lets hope they play like it is. Still concerned that Flacco is going to get about 2/3 PI called in this game which will change the outcome. Ravens best play, throw it deep and wait for the PI.

You need it even more now. That was ugly. I did not see that coming.

We know this will happen. I am very worried about Rowe and his PI skills.

Well, he has had 2 of them, 1was legit, they other was BS. He has actually played better the past few games. He is dealing with a hammy issue, so that could come into play. I think he would match up well with Smith with some help over the top. Let Butler take Wallace one on one, he can keep up with him and Wallace only has one route...straight and deep. Ryan in the slot.

IDK, gonna see what this defense it all about tomorrow. I hope they fixed what was wrong.
