Always liked Forsett, but he's not doing what he did last year without Kubiak around.

That is the big ?......He may not be as good, he may be even better....I have my reservations though until I see the money.....

Baltimore is a lock to draft a RB in the 1st 4 rounds to take over. Forsett had a great run last year but it isn't likely to continue. The guy has been a journeyman for a reason.

....in other words don't go all crazy on him in fantasy this coming year thinking he is going to repeat his 1200+ yard season of last year.

3 year $9M. $3M guaranteed. $2.1M in signing bonus. All guaranteed money is in the 1st year.

Essentially works out to a bunch of 1 year contracts at $3M per. The Ravens can cut him next year at this time and save $1.3M against the cap.

Essentially got a slightly scaled down version of the Gerhart contract from last year.

Also has escalators in the contract (not sure how much or when it kicks in) for rushing yards.

Solid deal for the Ravens and Forsett IMO.

I thought this was an excellent deal for the Ravens. Even if he falls off, they didn't pay too terribly much for him. I think he'll be very solid at least for this year
