It was on Shanahan. Would have liked to see him here as QB coach. I understand an OC position is an OC position, but I still think it would be a mistake to go to Cleveland.

I don't agree with Gottlieb and think the fit is just fine, but I do understand where he's coming from. The bad fit in my opinion is Kubiak and Rice. Pierce much more resembles the type of RB Kubiak likes.

Cleveland is where careers go to die... Yea Shanahan would be after the money & experience but he won't make it out of there above where he is now.

Agreed, makes more sense for the Kubiak-Rice situation. But I've seen Flacco move on his feet much better than what that analyst said. He is a pocket passer, but he still has the ability to move.

Flacco is also much better out of play-action. His mechanics are just better and he has a better rhythm. I'm not saying this move can't go wrong, but there will definitely be more consistency and direction. I like Caldwell, but he allowed too many people to have too much influence last year on the offense. It was dysfunctional to say the least. Caldwell also is not a very good play-caller and while I am happy with Flacco as the Ravens' QB, there is certainly no confusing him with Peyton Manning.

Is it normal for you to take a post that is in response to someone else, break it down, and then respond to it like it was directed to yourself to begin with?

Unless, of course, you and KwitYerWhinin are the same person and you forgot who you were signed in under.

I'll break down any post I feel like, especially if it's full of errors like that one was.

And no, I'm not the same person as KwitYerWhinin, I'm much more intelligent than him.

And you've got 4 days to hope you don't get your lunch taken away again.....We still have 2 SB's in 13 yrs , while you have 0.....And just to remind a piece of rat poop like you, that you had to go hire a future HOF qb to get you there even after all that time, you couldn't draft and develop a qb if you had to....Tebow Mania, running wild......Bwaaaaaahahahahahahahaha ...Great frachise...:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

Oh, wow, gee, you really cut me deep with this one. How will I ever live with myself if the Broncos only win a Super Bowl with a hired QB rather than one we drafted and developed?

Hey, congratulations on your 2 Super Bowls in the last 13 years. And thanks for the compliment on our great franchise, I think it's a pretty great franchise, too!:suds:

So the answer to my actual question is...yes, you normally do?

Yes, I normally break down a post that is a topic that interests me, and has a bunch of errors.

Isn't this a message board? I thought that's basically how these things work. :noidea:

So the Ravens' coaching situation is a topic that interests you? Funny...I don't see a single post in this thread from you addressing the actual topic. I just see a good bit of trolling.

No the topic that interested me was the Broncos, which was brought up before I posted. See my first post is a response to an idiotic post saying that Manning was on "fumes." That's how I got involved.

Yea I have definitely seen the damage that Flacco does with play-action live. But what happened to the Caldwell of 2012? His playcalling during that playoff run was pretty damn good. There was a big personnel changeover, but not that much on offense? Boldin and Birk are the only 2 that I can think of?

That post was in response to your fellow Broncos fan (Kwityerwhinin) who was trolling. It was not directed at you. Do you see what I mean about butting in?

I understand that. But again, this is a message board. There is a lot of back and forth. If you don't want another Broncos fan commenting, don't make an asinine remark about Manning running on fumes.

And if Kwityerwhinin was just trolling, why even respond to him in the first place?

I can't answer that as I am not the one who made the comment.

I like back and forth. What I don't like is what happened in this thread:

1. Idiotic comments by troll Broncos fan

2. Defensive/Insulting comments by Ravens' fan in response to troll

3. Defensive/Insulting comments by different Broncos fan towards Ravens' fan's response to troll

None of this relating in the least bit to the topic thread. It's a bit ridiculous and annoying and it's not what message boards should be about.

Whatever...it's really time to let this troll-infested thread die.

Except that I never really said anything insulting, unless you consider noting that I find it humorous to be calling the Ravens defending champs at this point of the season insulting, but I certainly wouldn't.

And frankly if you really want this thread to die, well, there's an easy way to bring that about...

you should seriously worry a little less about fashioning new insults and just focus on finishing the 8th grade. I realize that's not fashionable in Ballymore but its important, especially those math classes....ask your mom

Well , you obviously have run out of your 3rd grade level argument and go to the Momma slurs...Ahhh you are a special little guy aren't you ?....

I'll tell you what I can guarantee is, that if he don't show up in training camp, he will be replaced with a RB that hits the hole with power and doesn't stop to dance first......
Rubik's Kube ain't gonna let him dance, he'll sit him down.....
Go Ravens !!

He just turned 27 which is still fairly young... But in RB years he is hitting his peak.
