Maybe any way? This Notre Dame team is a significant step down from the last two years and is taking the bulldogs to the wire. This team isn't winning the SEC playing like this. Also, lol at Arkansas losing to San Jose State.

I agree. I'm really curious about you guys too. Your defense is horrible, but Alabama's hasn't looked amazing.

I will say, 14 points were gift wrapped today curtsey of turnovers being converted into touchdowns. With that being said, the defense has been atrocious. A lot of defensive starters have been sidelined the past 2 weeks, but it didn’t look good full strength at Texas.

I think people (including myself) are less likely to give LSU credit because the defense has always been the backbone, and saying LSU’s offense has to carry the team is just plain weird. Even I am not comfortable or happy with this. I think LSU and Florida are interchangeable at this point. Their defense will be the first true test for this offense.

I can't put the blame on the coach, yet.

The Joe's aren't executing. Missed tackles, missed assignments, just bad.

Yeah, I think they're definitely talented. I don't know anything about the coaching so can't speak to that. It's just really sloppy and not mentally there. Texas may or may not be a good offense, but I don't think Vandy is a world-beater who should be putting up almost 40 points. And you're probably right that they get tired in the second half and play worse (Burrow has been absolutely disgusting this season). I think there's a decent chance Bama-LSU will be a shootout (though now that I said that, it will be 10-7).

But the SEC is really interesting this season. The bottom teams are some of the worst in the country, but no one has really made a statement that they're the likely SEC champ. Alabama is crushing teams but has some weaknesses on defense and the offensive line (that I think will be fixed by the end of the season). Georgia decimated some nobodies but really struggled with Notre Dame, who is good but much weaker than they've been the past couple of years. Auburn looks amazing, but they do have this freshman at QB and seem like they have some weaknesses. LSU's offense looks like the best I've ever seen it, but the defense is really suspect. And Florida suddenly looks more dangerous without Franks at QB.

Georgia’s is solid, Bama has lost a ton due to injuries, Auby’s dline is filthy. You very well could be right.
