The inside of our line is better than the offensive tackles. We are a center away from solidying the inside, but even without, I’d rank the strength of the interior line ahead of the strength we have at ILB, OLB, and OT. I’d have it on par with CBs and WRs and behind TE and QB.

OLB is in desperate need of talent and depth.

I think Roquan Smith is more game-ready, but I think Edmunds has a higher ceiling and could play outside more effectively.

OLB ILB OL WR. But I expect to be shocked and draft this list backwards from how I listed it. Our first 2 picks will be on the O side. Need D more IMO.

I honestly think Kwiatkowski is serviceable next to Trevathan, but definitely believe depth is needed there. I can't put it second in need tho, when both Timu and Anderson are decent depth. I agree the starting position could be better than Nick, but I think he holds his own.

I can never have too many Big Uglies on the lines, and think a Center or Tackle would be great at 2, but if a guy like Sutton (WR) slips to 39,(er' whatever) I would be totally cool with that pick, as well.

I like him as a backup, (Kwiatkowski).

I've kind of just come to terms with the fact that Kwiatkoski is probably our Week 1 starting ILB next to Trevathan. Which is fine. He's not an overly exciting player, but not all 22 starters will be. He seems to be very competent, isn't out of position often and does make a sack or tackle for a loss on a RB here and there.

He can be this D's Hunter Hillenmeyer. IMO. (and no - not just because they're both white LB's... lol)

Also, maybe he takes a step forward this year and we're underestimating that possibility. Perhaps Fangio sees something.

He was just a step late everywhere it seemed, maybe he does get better. But still we need a ILB to compete or for injury.

That's always been my take on Kwiatkoski, he's the ultimate sub or special package player. I love his motor and his hitting, but he does seem to be out of place at times and seems to be zigging while the other guy is zagging. I want him to remain a Bear for years, but at this point, I'd prefer he not be a starter. This is why I'd be quite satisfied if Pace ends up going with Smith, but I'm still pro-Edmunds if Pace takes a defensive player with the 8th spot.

I disagree. We drafted almost exclusively offense last year. And filled in with a lot of free agents this offseason. I see us going defense heavy with an olineman or two sprinkled in.
