I get the hate for Ross, but Boyd can run more than 1 route and has decent hands. He will be playing on a team that should be down a lot in the 2nd half (junk points!) and has a superstar next to him (for now) to soak up attention on the other side of the field.

Remember guys, this isn't about who is more talented or will end up being the better football player. This is about who can score the most fantasy points.

Why the boyd hate?

Well apparently we are in the minority with Boyd. I just don't understand why last year would be a fluke. He did just as well with A.J. Green on the field as without A.J. Green on the field and as I stated before, he was 17th in wide receiver scoring in this league last year. And with a 16 team league, that means he was almost a WR1. These were his fantasy points last year in the 14 games he played which was weeks 1-15:

ross is awful, he was a terrible draft pick, and a terrible player

For a redraft league Boyd could make sense, but feel it's more a fluke year that he won't repeat.

The points per game aside, he didn't do as well without Green as he did with him.

His targets per game fell off by 1.25
His catches per game fell off by nearly two
His yards per game dipped by over 9
His yards per catch went up by 2.5 though
And his TD rate plummeted from on TD every 13 targets to one every 21.

He's a talented receiver, he's just nothing special...replaceable, in the end, not a go to guy

Speaking of things like that, and not to get off topic (although I am), I checked out the Jints lineup yesterday. Remember Paul Perkins? Holy Crap, I forgot all about that guy. Talk about falling off the map!

I'm trying to deal Boyd in this other dynasty league I am in. Maybe for a QB. Offered him for Russ Wilson and dude wasn't having it. Told him to counter and haven't heard from him, so I guess he's not into it. Same dude has Goff and we only start one. Who do you guys think is a realistic target to get back for Boyd at QB?

Gerinoms problem isnt so much what he can or can't do with Rodgers, its that there are at least two younger, better athletes on his heels, and he's only got a small one year contract. Where will he be after that? And can he produce like that whever that might be, or is he just another GB WR who flops outside of the land of cheese?

I think the packers continue to play a lot of three and four wide however that would likely include the TE position. The new coach’s system really utilized bunch formations. I think the packers go back to a big YAC team rather than airing things out as much as they have of late.

It will require a change in style for Rodgers somewhat. Less adlibbing because bunch formations bring defenders closer to the LOS.
