One guy's (wrong) opinion is gospel now? And has Erving even played center in the NFL? Would a Zeirlein convince you that Trubisky = Jameis Winston as a prospect?

That has nothing to do with the point. He was the #1 rated Center in the draft and went 19th. Fredricks was the #1 rated Center in the draft and went late 20's and a couple guys on here are trying to tell me tams passed on the BEST center in the draft and that has nothing to do with what teams value. Thats insanity.

Draft position is a valuation of importance, but that may differ from what happens on the field importance which can create discrepancies (which I suspect is one reason with guys like @SteelersPride ranking C's significantly higher than I did for instance)

When you said that teams will start draft Centers in the top 10. Youre saying that teams dont know what their doing and will eventually figure out how important Center is. I wonder why Bellicheck hasnt figured it out like you have????

Explain how that possible could be true. Thats absolutely assinine. QB's go #1 all the time, but thats not because they are important. Right. If teams though Centers were valuable they draft them high. That makes absolutely zero sense saying draft position doesnt equate to importance. It has 100% everything to do with their importance.

OL has the longest NFL shelf life, teams have one starting center, and the BU usually backs up a couple of positions, therefore C is easier to fill without spending a top 15 pick. Make your but don't try to use the draft as justification

You know he was a converted DLineman [Tom Cable is jealous] who didn't have much experience at center right? There are public scouts on record saying he would benefit from sitting on the bench for a year(s?) to learn the position of center. The fact he got drafted in the first round is remarkable- and in fact, kind of works against you, not for you. The Pat Mahomes of Center prospects.

Theres only one LT too. Why do they always always always get drafted before Centers. Because they are more important. Thats why.

Can't claim to be a fan of this group whatsoever. OL in general is very depressed in recent years. OT has become overvalued as a draft asset, as well as guard.

Coincidentally they grade this draft class for Centers as a B. They give Taclkles a C- and Guard a B also. So they are saying this is a better draft for Center then Guard or Tackle yet have 5 of them going in the first and no Centers going in the first or 2nd. So thats more proof that Centers are as valued. No?

Huhh? Why not? I didnt try anything. Im reporting what others are saying. They are saying 7 QBs going in the first two rounds and ZERO Centers in the first two rounds. Wanna know why. Centers arent valued.
