Two pathetic efforts in the same play. Nap jogs to the ball and Andrus can't catch a ball that my 7 year old would have caught.

Don't care about Napoli there after the initial bobble, got to it in plenty of time and made an accurate throw, all on Andrus there

It's not a good night for anyone on the Ranger's roster. Just about the only bright spot has been Hamilton's play in center.

What the FUCK is Wash thinking, sending Holland back out with 100 pitches, after getting rocked all game long.

Ron Washington is a fucking moron. Why would he let Holland pitch to Derek there?

Holland deserved all of that loss. He was complete shit from the first pitch.

Bound to have a bad night eventually

Yep.

It still sucks for his outing to be so bad though. It was also frustrating that Wash didn't give us a chance by putting in a differnt pitcher when it was obvious that Holland didn't have ANY of his pitches tonight. At some point, Wash will realize that you have to become an in-game manager and actually pull some strings when things just aren't working.

I think sometimes wash takes the whole Nolan Ryan method of making your pitchers go longer too far. It's one thing to push a guy another inning or two if he's going good, but damn, holland just never had it tonight.

Wednesday will pretty much be a bullpen game guys. Wash couldn't afford to blow up the bullpen.

This. We all knew we weren't going to go 159-3. As long as the losses are to good teams, and not the cellar dwellars (like the Angels  ) I'm ok with it. Pitchers will have off nights, hitters and fielders too. As for letting Holland stay out there, I guess he was saving the bullpen since he knows he is stealing on from them in a few nights.

edit: I see above that romeo already said my bullpen point. doh
