the rangers have spurts of bad defense from time to time. cant afford to do that against pitching like this though

I don't think it's that odd. I can understand why that would happen. It's gotta be mentally draining to set up a hitter, make your pitch, then have the defense boot the ball behind you and you have to do it all over again.

Yes he just needs to make that step foward to up his game.

Yeah, that's something I think that just comes with experience. Putting that stuff behind you. But I definitely get how it could piss you off or make you lose focus, etc.
