The kid deserved to be up here awhile ago. I would give him 75% of the starts from here on out.

Have about 5 years before that happens. My job for about 5 years was a 3 hour commute on DART but for the last year and a half work from home and go in about 1-2 times a month. I can work like that for a long time.

....swear....that was/is my total point.

This season is all about next season, according to us, RW and the FO. So why not let him split time with Chirinos for the rest of the season and then evaluate.

I do not have him on any type of pedestal, or any great expectations at this point. But why not let him have some quality time behind the plate?

Hell, we basically gave away Soto, and if all we want this kid to do is catch 5 games? Arenciba could have done that and saved the roster spot IMO.

Don't stop with Telis. Get Rua up here. We know what kind of a player Rosales is. Let Rua get his feet wet. He can play all IF positions too.

Absolutely he could be. Of course I'm greedy. If we can upgrade I would like to upgrade. I brought up Gattis yesterday and would love to add the Dallas native and his power as a C/DH.

I guess we will just wait and see what Telis does for the rest of the year. I'm not as high on Robinson as some. He's been solid and is cheap though. He's not throwing out runners like he was earlier in the year.

Soto might still come back. He was a FA and they got some cash for him. JPA is done as a catcher in the majors I think. If he's going to play going forward it's a 1B.

Not sure why he is playing. I do not find it critical to have a LH bat against a RH as much as the other way around. And even more so when he isn't hitting and is a terrible 1st baseman.
