Its amazing what Beltre is doing considering what he has hitting around him.

He's worth every penny and more. Can't believe LAA wouldn't offer him more. They really blew it by not paying him to come back to the LA area.

Well said.

If I pitched against the Rangers, he'd never see a strike.

And he's not scared to take a walk either. If his BB% is not the highest in his Ranger career I would bet it's close.

Damn it is his best OBP in his career. That's impressive.

And he's got a chance to lead the league in hitting.

Isn't that amazing?

Some argued back then that he would only put up good numbers in a contract year. I believe several on the DMN board back then wanted the Rangers to not sign him.

As soon as Cliff Lee decided he didn't want to join Texas, I wanted Adrian. I knew that if they didn't get that big pitching FA that they needed to upgrade at 3b. MY was so bad defensively that I wanted Beltre as bad as you can want a FA. So happy they nabbed him and got him for the right price. He got off to a slow start in 2011, but I knew he would be worth it and he's proved him self every year since then in a big way. Such a great player...He became my fav player in one short year because of it.

Honest to Pete......can you believe the positive rant TAG just went on re: Morales?

Planet Baseball to Mr Grieve.....he's only had about 250 ABs this season ya fucking knucklehead. That's why he has so few K's.

Retire already....or just shoot me please....don't care which really

I was hoping he was talking about Cano but just chose to do it after his AB...
