Cotts is your best lefty and Ortiz was 0-5 against him. Hope for a DP grounder

It all goes back to the lead-off BB. Scheppers and Ross have been ok in the rotation, but our bullpen blows with them there.

Bradley actually came up as a guy that takes a lot of walks, just hasn't been able to hit much at the ML level yet

It's not about Bradley, it's about our pitchers not throwing strikes to bad hitters. We probably lead the league in walks. I bet half the runs against us got on base from walking.

Nick Martinez started the first one and you are right about Cotts blowing both games. For the most part he has not looked good. My main reason to get Scheppers in as a setup man in the pen. With him I don't care if he is left or right handed.

Another tough loss... but what you gonna do? Positives are that Ross seemed to pitch well. Gonna just have to weather the storm till some folks get healthy.

That's just to bad that Ogando looked as sharp as he did until the BB, and then gets the loss.
Good news is we can regroup and we have the Astros at home. We need our home crowd to wake the offense up.
