If he stays relatively healthy all year he is a top 5 player in the game. Yes, I know it's dependent on his health, but I was willing to take the risk.

Injury updates: Joe Saunders, who has a bruise on his left heel after being hit there during Friday's start, will not throw in his scheduled bullpen session on Monday. Washington said the team is "still trying to make a determination" on whether the lefthander will make his scheduled start next Friday. Washington insinuated that the team will wait until after the rehab start by Colby Lewis on Sunday before making a decision.

I am fine with Lewis for Saunders. But hated to see Nick go down. I missed the game so don't know how he really looked to those watching the game. Just liked the results. But I guess he could be back sooner dependent on how Scheppers does along with others. I just want us to put our best foot forward.

Romeo-tell me if I am missing something. Could we not have done what I thought by putting Saunders on the DL once he was hit in the foot. I don't care if he actually could have pitched again because would we really want him to? And let Nick make 1 more start and have Colby make another rehab start. Or are they afraid to upset Colby if he was not called up? I still think Colby could use 1 more AAA start.
