Buzz......"And Elvis is in under"..........on a throw which missed the 3rd by about 15 feet.

Lordy our announcers are so weak.

That's because Buzz can't actually see what is going on out there.

Buzz: not too bad of a pitch that time but Cabrera placed it well.

It was letter high out over the plate. :L

This pitching staff as a whole throws way too many hittable pitches.

The one Bautista hit was a good pitch. That said, these guys seem to be taking "pound the strike zone" a little too literally.

Their stuff isn't good enough to fool major league hitters. So anything over the plate ends up being flat or with little movement.

Bases loaded is actually better here since you make the double play an option.

I agree. I was hoping Tepesch's stuff would improve but he really hasn't at all. Tepesch just isn't even close to being on the same playing field as Darvish, Holland or Perez.

JD and Washington, especially RW, was adamant that "the area we had to show improvement in for the second half was starters going longer into games."

In our first 3 games after the break we've got 6 2/3, 5, and now 4 1/3.

There has never been a BP which could handle this load, much less the one we have.

Even if the pitching results don't improve, starters have got to start going deeper into games.

Tolleson is much better when starting an inning than inheriting runners...per my observations

I'm not trying to defend Nick here. However, they did get some rather weak hits today.

Agree with ya on Tepesch overall. I'm sorely disappointed in his progress; or lack thereof.

My point exactly. If all goes the way it probably will, our starters will have 15 innings and our BP 9 for the first 3 games of the second half.

That's horrid.
