It's flat out laziness and lack of focus. I don't have a problem with him trying to back hand that ball, but the technique was lazy. He didn't lead with his left leg and get himself in position. He just kind of stuck his glove down there. Just once I'd like to see Bannister go get Elvis in the middle of the game when he does that garbage.
