Series Thread: Rangers Travel to Toronto for Four Games September 11-14

Bradford hasn't thrown more than 31 pitches since the end of July. The way they have used him puts him in need of being stretched out again. The 42 pitches he threw tonight were probably about all he should have thrown due to the way they have used him.

Heaney will go to Scherzer's spot and Cody will remain not being stretched out. Bradford being used tonight pretty much showed what Bochy was thinking regarding Scherzer's spot in the rotation.

You might be right. I meant to say that he's clearly one of the five best SPs we have, and should be next guy up.

Yep. I have more confidence in Bradford being able to pitch more quality starts next year than anyone on the team, including Scherzer. Scherzer will be better when healthy, but how many starts will he miss due to not being healthy next year?

Kudos to the offense for not being satisfied with a series win. A few weeks back I gave them some grief for not playing well in 3 games in a row where they had the chance to sweep. Great job by the offense tonight, keeping the foot on the throttle.
