Playing Taveras everyday is another one.Botchy thought he was smarter than everyone else. It's one of the most head scratching moves I have ever seen.

A tad extreme but not totally off basethis whole team is sad. Eovaldi pitched a good game and got no offensive support (other than Harris' homer in the 2nd. they need to bench Pederson, Semien, Garcia, Burger, Higashioka, Taveras but who would they play?
I second thatThe hitting is atrocious. We used to call for the hitting coach’s head. If it’s the same coach from last season then I am putting the call in now!
He also has a double which gives him a slugging percentage of .583 amd an OPS of 1.083.From Evan Grant:
Over his last five games, which dates back almost 10 days, Carter is 3 for 12, but has six walks for a .500 OBP in 18 plate appearances. He also has a home run. He has struck out just once and has a pair of steals.
Hopefully he’s getting back to his old self. From Evan Grant:

It's Seattle man, we can't hit there either. The hitting is atrocious. We used to call for the hitting coach’s head. If it’s the same coach from last season then I am putting the call in now!
Polanco and Cal seemed to figure it out pretty wellIt's Seattle man, we can't hit there either.
Take them out and I bet our team average is .150Polanco and Cal seemed to figure it out pretty well
It is not just the one series, though. This is bigger than one particular ballpark. It's Seattle man, we can't hit there either.
Well your pitching is overall better than is for nowTake them out and I bet our team average is .150
Yea I hate JDG not pitching against the halosThe Rangers are rearranging their rotation. DeGrom will start against the Dodgers and not the Angels.
This is eerily similar to that time Bochy sat some guys in that last game against St. Louis two years ago so they would be rested to face the Rays, who were the best team going at the time.
The team hasn't come close to another 60 game stretch like that, since that maneuver by Bochy.
