True based on hindsight. But based on what Latz had been doing lately out of the pen I was okay with the move.

I think if you as a manager says I am going to let him go one batter and if he does not get him out i will pull him does a disservice to the relief pitcher like Latz or a guy like Burke who I suggested
We knew Lorenzon was starting to lose it the prior inning
And our pen is in better shape

I had thought he should have someone up the prior inning and ready and they were even before the last inning ended. I like Latz but i wanted to see what Burke could do in a situation prior to the 7th
