Any players that put the team on their back to win a WS will become legends in this Metroplex for years.Read where Scherzer is really pushing himself to possibly pitch in the playoffs. That he wasn't just flicking the ball but putting effort into it. It would be nice but we will see. One thing that I noticed when deGrom went down and not Scherzer they both really wanted to be out there pitching for the Rangers. Those guys really want to see this team win it all to the point that it is very emotional for them when they went down. The intensity they will bring to this team next year will be great to see and really rub off on the other players. And I do believe deGrom will make it all the way from the last couple of month of the season throughout the playoffs much like he did last year.
Right there with you.Any players that put the team on their back to win a WS will become legends in this Metroplex for years.
They will be beloved. Statues will be made
Sort of like virgin territory. Never to be forgotten
Have to think players will want that for themselves, this city and for a lasting legacy to be talked about for years to come
We have waited a lifetime as Ranger fans. Definitely on my bucket list. Actually not many have remained forever Ranger fans from the early 70s until now
I am proud to be a member of that contingent
If they bring Langford to ST I’d say Taveras is gone and the Rangers go with Langford LF, Carter CF and Garcia RF
Don’t see Anderson being called up
Sandler gave it a 5% chance of happening. Sounds like Bochy is more confident.Bochy right now on 105.3 on Scherzer and if he can pitch in the playoffs…. “I wouldn’t rule that out… Max really knows his body best and he’s throwing the ball pretty good right now… we have gotten a lot of good news on that front…. I certainly wouldn’t rule him out”
He is running and throwing. Guess a bullpen is needed within the week before they have to announce a roster assuming the bestSandler gave it a 5% chance of happening. Sounds like Bochy is more confident.
Same here. When my dad was at the Pentagon we would go see the Washington Senators. They were horrible but I rooted for them. We came to Texas in April 1969. When the Rangers came rooted for the same miserable team. LOL! Would love a title.Any players that put the team on their back to win a WS will become legends in this Metroplex for years.

I wouldn't trade Adolis unless we got a really good haul. Think he's got 3 years of team control left, he's cheap, and is one of the best OF in the game.
He does have a great arm. I don't have a problem with him staying around.I wouldn't trade Adolis unless we got a really good haul. Think he's got 3 years of team control left, he's cheap, and is one of the best OF in the game.
He's good for at least 30 bombs a year, too.
Yeah, in that scenario I would keep Adolis and trade Leody, unless I just couldn't pass on a trade of Adolis.I wouldn't trade Adolis unless we got a really good haul. Think he's got 3 years of team control left, he's cheap, and is one of the best OF in the game.

It would have to be a boatload for him.Yeah, in that scenario I would keep Adolis and trade Leody, unless I just couldn't pass on a trade of Adolis.
He was one of the greats.
As a boy, I remember thinking Brooks Robinson was a great one.
