No More "Bullpen Failure" - maybe
It is time to move on to Ckeveland and keep on winning. Let hope they keep the foot on the throttle.
I'm guessing Heaney. So according to the Rangers website Gray will start game 1 against Giolito, Dunning will go Bibee in game 2 but no starter listed for us in game 3 against Williams. Who gets the call?
Same here followed in relief with Perez,Stratton etcI'm guessing Heaney.
Everything seems to point that way but who knows what Bochy might decideI'm guessing Heaney.
That's who I guessed yesterday as well. Bradford and Perez have been doing a really good job out of the pen and it gives us the luxury to be flexible to come in for long relief for any starters who struggle early like Gray and Eovaldi.I'm guessing Heaney.
That is fine for now. I still think Bradford should be in the rotation next year. To me, he is already our best starter currently, as long as Scherzer is hurt and Eovaldi hasn't gotten back to his old self yet. Not only that, but it stands to reason that he could very well continue to improve over the next couple of seasons. That's who I guessed yesterday as well. Funny he spots his FB up in the zone well and still finds swing and miss. Surprisingly effectiveThat is fine for now. I still think Bradford should be in the rotation next year. I can agree with that because hopefully we have done some work to improve our bullpen. We are kind of in a tough situation with Eovaldi still trying to get back into form and Gray has not been the same since a certain catcher was let go and the BP is capable of imploding at any given moment. That is fine for now. Certain members of our bullpen seem to have steadied out for now but the whole unit could self destruct at any moment. The starter group should be pretty much set for next season although we’ll probably disagree on at less one member of the rotation or Bochy and Maddux will see it differently on the order of the top 6 pitchers in itI can agree with that because hopefully we have done some work to improve our bullpen.
