Elvis was in under the tag. Umpire wasn't even in position to make that call.

Nelly is just hitting everything right now. They're definitely sitting on his change up and slider though.

I never saw a replay that wasn't from super far away

Me either. If he'd stayed at first he probably would have scored just then on Nelly's single.

I'm not mad about him going to second. I like the aggressive play and it looked to me at least like young sailed the throw over the cutoff man.

Murphy smashed that ball, but no luck. Would love to eat up their bullpen in the first game though.

I'm not mad either, but in retrospect it probably cost us two runs there. As Andrus would have scored on Nelly's single and Murphy's long fly ball would have been a sac fly (assuming everything played out the same).

Elvis would never stay at first on that ... the throw was to Cabrera who wasn't as deep as normal ... probably anticipating that Elvis would go for two. Cutting it off 15' short of where the cutoff normally plays is what made the difference. Even so ... from my living room he was safe.

I think a bad call costs us the runs in all actuality.

With two outs on the next pitch he would be trying to get to second anyway.
