Olt did a hell of a job laying off some tough pitches. That was a veteran at bat from a rookie. This kid needs to play whether it be a first third or dh. Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.

Think he is like most of us that dont want to see LA in the playoffs. It is going to be tough for LA to get in with all the teams fighting for a wild card. All of their pitchers have been struggling lately except for Weaver

Who cares ... he is a spare. Was a bad acquisition year ago.

Note where Soto was set up to take Moreland's throw in the top of the 9th ... on the right side of the plate... unlike YT who set up on the left side of the plate and wasn't agile enough to take Napoli's throw in Game 3 ... YT being in the lineup cost TEX the WS.

Right now ... TEX can't even trade him. He is toast for balance of 2012 and little chance of signing on other than Mexican ball for 2013. YT is a spare.

Was great seeing Olt break one paradigm tonight ... only thing that might have been more valuable would have been if Gentry had put a 2 strike ball in the RF gap to kill off the Murphy full time starter gig paradigm. Need Gentry and Murphy platooning.

Listening to Wash in the post game makes it sound like he planned on Olt to pull it out "with the game on the line".
