oak has KC and laaaa is at the astros. if the Rangers can somehow snag 2 wins this weekend, they'd be in a good spot.

Swear....I'm not near as concerned with wins and losses at this point, as I am with wanting to see solid, fundamentally sound, baseball.

You know, catching balls you should - regardless if you're given an error or not - not getting picked off 1st base - regardless if the other team screws it up or not - and pitchers throw more strikes than balls.

And that's not asking for a lot, IMO, from professional baseball players, who "supposedly" are being accountable for their actions/or lack of.

Maybe we can catch Cano napping on base again...

That would be terrifc. But in fairness to him, he caught a mountain of grief for making this move out west, and all he did last season was hit .314 with 82 RBI. And now he's the foundation of a team which, in no small part due to his signing, is in a position to win our division.

I say again, I'm a WHOLE lot more concerned with our mental miscues than theirs. And I expect this team to be out-manned in certain games this year, and have no problem with that. However, every game so far has been an adventure in focus and fundamentals. And this is totally unacceptable to me.

I am with you on that. Some of the players look like they could care less what was going on out there and I am not trying to single anyone out. But it was embarrassing to watch.

Because of your last statement, I signed off early the last game and went to bed.

Maybe as they go forward, this will be a difference maker:

Nothing like following up an off-day with a late game - all the while of looking like crap - to keep the interest high, eh?

Really don't get what Banny Rooster is doing here... Martin and Andrus back at 1-2, with Odor at 8???

Are the sandies running yet?

No.....And when they do, I want nothing to do with them. Fun to catch, pain-in-the-butt to get off the hook, and will wear your hands out.

I'm going crappie hunting tomorrow. Probably do a little bass too. Can't help myself.

If I was there, I'd be doing the same.

The 34-year-old Cruz,is 9 for 19 with nine RBIs during the longest homer streak of his career.

Cruz had two AB against Gallardo last season, and went 2-2; both homers.

We believe in rewarding a total lack of effort in the previous game.
