I am feeling rather fortunate in Otto giving up just 2 runs. Wasn't exactly a strike thrower today. Hope the BP can be lights out the rest of the way.

How'd Glenn Otto pitch today? Wasn't able to watch the game. Saw that he had five walks...

Was not his sharpest. DP ball helped. He walked Winkler twice is seemed to pitch around him But then the guy blasted a HR deep.

Overall though a pleas t surprise this year

You are right in that his control was way off. White saved him 3 runs in the last game but all pitchers get those breaks. But considering he was a callup in an emergency situation and most of us thought he would pitch 1 game and be sent back down the guy has been a pleasant surprise.

Overall the young guys like Otto and Dunning have been good and have helped stabilize the starting rotation.

Well they are supposed to have a better farm than us and brought up Kirby and JRod. This was supposed to be their year but guess pen has been suspect and like is not scoring a lot of runs

Tomorrow is a real good test for division pecking order IMO.

They PH for a guy who was hitting .333 with a player hitting in the .150's in the 7th inning and then PH for that guy in the 9th with a guy hitting in the .180's. From the looks of things they should of just let Trammell hit.
