Yeah the walks are unnerving but he has better pitches and has not had an emotional meltdown. He needs to clean that up. I remember when he turned the corner pre TJ. Hope it happens again

I can live with the walks as long as he doesn't give up a lot of hits and his pitch count doesn't climb too fast. He is still a youngster so even the walks will improve in time probably.

He will be fine eventually. If anything the big leagues will take him longer, but when he does adjust he is going to be a monster.

I have no problem burying Gallo at 8 spot for now. FWIW I have my doubts he is really seeing many pitches in AAA as well. With a talent like this I think we try to ride it out til he figures it out. Come playoffs if he is not ready, he sits.

You are way too impatient. He has had 120 or so AB spread out over 2 seasons. I didn't expect him to be hitting on all cylinders at this point based on his history. This adjustment period has to come sometime. We will benefit from it eventually.

Right. I can tolerate some games without hits. What I can't tolerate is his piss poor at bats and complete lack of situational awareness he looks like he's just trying to put on a show.

I'm not expecting all star performance at this point. I am expecting professional at bats. So far he's failed miserably.
