Martin looks like he has no clue too often.

Saw something about him being more consistent the other day, but he's consistently inconsistent

Have you seen Choo lately? :laugh3:

Yeah, unfortunately. Was sitting here thinking Alberto was going to be the one to break up the perfect game so I thought I would throw that out. That was a pretty big matzo ball there.

He missed at least two fat pitches that at bat.

We've got to extend some at bats here and get Sale out after this inning

Rangers looking for consistency from Leonys Martin

Despite going hitless in his last four games (0 for 13), Rangers outfielder Leonys Martin contends he is doing a lot better since getting past a wrist injury he sustained in early May.

Even with his recent slide, Martin is still batting .303 with two doubles, two home runs and 12 RBI in his last 19 games.

“When you go to home plate you think about it [the wrist], and I didn’t want to get hurt again,” Martin said, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “A couple weeks ago it started feeling good. I’m really happy.”

Martin began the season as the Rangers' leadoff hitter, but when he struggled in that role, he was moved to the bottom third of the lineup. The Rangers still believe in Martin, but they need him to find consistency at the plate.

“It’s just competitive at-bats,” manager Jeff Banister said. “We’d like for him to string at-bats together. I still think, in the end, Leonys possesses all those qualities to be a leadoff hitter. But you’ve got to be able to string them together to be consistent with them.”

Banny has only seen him this year, we have seen it for multiple years. He is who you see Jeff, doubtful you see what you're hoping for

Or do the exact fucking opposite and hand him a 6 pitch inning. Great game plan, Rangers. :L

Martin is a stellar fourth outfielder and defensive replacement. Nothing more.
