Most likely scenario at this point is they travel to Toronto for the ALWCS. At least Ray can go there now since the covid requirements end Oct 1st.

Still don't like their odds in that series, but they haven't played any better than the M's lately.

In fact, all 3 jockeying for position are 4-6 in the last 10 games.

I'm not sure how much I trust this site; I have seen you post quite a few of these and I don't EVER recall it indicating that the opposing team was gifted net runs/partial runs by bad calls, and some of those had every item in the "Impactful Call" column go against the M's:

I just don't trust Gonzales tonight...

Not so much the ERA, but his 15 losses this year and his measly 2:1 ratio of strikeouts vs walks leaves something to be desired.

Hopefully our bats can produce more tonight.

Thankfully, though, with our Magic Number down to TWO, it does provide more breathing room. Just don't get too lax, people.

Birds tanked another game already today, so the magic number is down to 2. They can wrap this up tomorrow with a win tonight and either their loss, or another win tomorrow vs Oakland.

I'd imagine they will have champagne going and will be celebrating like they won something.
