Colby was getting no respect "whatsoever" yesterday, from more than one.

I'm in the court of offering him 2 years, in some form/fashion, around $15 mil, most of which should be guaranteed.

IMO, starters who eat innings, are hard to come by, and besides that, we owe him some bucks for the last half of last season and all of this one.

I couldn't agree more...he keeps you in games...if you look at his ERA ...its high because he stayed in a game ( cant remember which one it was) ..got shelled...he did it to save the BP..

Ain't that the truth......his bat is amazing.

Other than that, he's a liability in the field, couldn't out run your refrigerator, no arm, and makes poor reads/decisions (see this past 1/2 inning).

I felt so.....but maybe it was me.

To me, and I think you, it's a no-brainer on bringing him back AT LEAST for a one year deal. And frankly, I'd overpay some due to his contributions over the past 1 and 1/2 seasons, his unwavering support of the organization, and his stated desire to remain with us.

Again, I took it personal, and perhaps it wasn't at all.
