To me, and I think you, it's a no-brainer on bringing him back AT LEAST for a one year deal. And frankly, I'd overpay some due to his contributions over the past 1 and 1/2 seasons, his unwavering support of the organization, and his stated desire to remain with us.

Again, I took it personal, and perhaps it wasn't at all.

I don't know if he's even in the rotation after Yu comes back. Seems pricey to me for a guy that has an ERA close to 4.5. I'm hoping Chi Chi keeps progressing and becomes our 5th starter next year.

I wouldn't mind bringing him back for a year.

IMO, this season would have mirrored last season if not for two players......Colby Lewis and Prince Fielder.

Regardless of what happens from now to the finish line, these two men saved the day to date.
