Was hoping he had a minor nagging injury, that was the reason he wasn't sharp but it may be this is just who he is, until he figures out something. He will figure it out, you would hope

I know umpires have a tough job to do, so I don't blame them for occasionally blowing a call. But it's the umpires who have egos the size of the moon who think they are bigger than the game itself and who think they are untouchable who piss me off so much. MLB needs to make these clowns accountable for their actions. Suspend them for multiple games, fine them thousands of dollars, and publicly shame them for their transgressions. It's the only way this kind of shit will ever stop.

safe to say he's not mowing them down out there, but they only have 2 runs

Yep. He looks really bad at the plate. That huge leg kick and starting his hands going backwards so dramatically just puts him behind every fastball. He's got good speed and can hit off speed stuff, but he's easily their most over-matched hitter.
