I can't imagine any circumstances where Desmond would be here next season.

Of course, I can't imagine the thought process which has him in the lineup this evening.

Rua has been crushing the ball and yet picks up pine time. I'm pretty flabbergasted by this.

I certainly don't wish Desmond ill, nor do I think Banister is a big ol "Nancy-Boy." But I'll be damned if I know what to make of this "Desmond or bust" philosophy.

Hasn't he played every game? Is AB the only other player who can say this? I'm seriously confused by this.

Just read thru this thread and I agree jta. This is ridiculous. Some said that they guess Desmond needs to be in a slump. When hasn't he been in a slump. One game he will break out and have a good one and all will talking about what a great decision it was to play Desmond while Rua who as I said before has more hits in his last 2 starts than Desmond has for the season sits. I really get tired of stupid stuff like this.
