What a waste of a Perez beauty
What a waste of a Perez beauty
When Perez came back out with 98 pitches or so and walked the LH Davis on 4 pitches and the bum Wilhemsen was warming up (thought he was going to be a better pitcher than this too) and turned the TV off as I just had a bad feeling about it. Then my son came walking in and told me what happened.I think it was everyone who pitched in the 7th actually, its their job to get outs and they didn't get it done

Well wilhelmsen is trash and he clearly left him in there way too long. I also thought he should have pulled Perez after 6 or at least after he walked Davis on 4 pitches, but that didn't matter when he brought Tom in anyway

To be fair, seems like everyone has had at least one bad moment so far, Wilhelmsen has more than his fair share now
No one has looked untouchable yet
Can we bring up Bush yet?
I think if we traded Desmond today to a team that would play him everyday and replaced him on an everyday basis with Rua that at the end of the season Ryan would have the better numbers and it wouldn't really be very close.I wish one of these beat reporters would have the balls to ask Banny why he keeps playing Desmond who is hitting .109. While Rua and his .375 sits.
The trouble is who would want him right now.I think if we traded Desmond today to a team that would play him everyday and replaced him on an everyday basis with Rua that at the end of the season Ryan would have the better numbers and it wouldn't really be very close.
I was just trying to state who I think would put up better numbers if given equal opportunity. As far as who would want him I wouldn't know. The trading him part of what I said was just a hypothetical scenario where they could each get everyday playing time. The trouble is who would want him right now.
