I still play indoor myself, and though I love the game and like watching the men's WC, the only way I can support the Women's team is if Alex Morgan needs my help personally.

Hope the Astros and Angels both lose.......yeah I know they're playing each other, one can hope though.

Phil Coke has declined an optional assignment with the Blue Jays, and has elected FA.
I'm not a huge fan of Phil, but he'd be an upgrade over our current LH relievers. Unlike our lefties he actually gets out LH batters.

I remember watching her run too ... but had to go check. She also ran the anchor leg of the 4x100m relay to a gold. Born prematurely ... 4.5#, contracted infantile polio at 4yo yet won three Olympic Gold Medals.

On womens sports. With athletic daughter and three granddaughters ... am good with girls and sports. Volleyball super. Karate w 2 black belts great. Softball pitching awesome. Swimming youngest is 8yo and her friends smoking all the boys at same distances. If I watch soccer would prefer to watch women. At least their tactics yield scores. Mens soccer is extremely boring and I played in high school. Daughter went to Tennessee ... so women's collegiate basketball more tactical than mens basketball which is boring to me.

Best women's sport is LPGA if you don't want to mess your game up by trying to hit like PGA pros.

The men's game is faster, sharper, and demonstrates far better skill than the women's at every level from about 13 on.

Looking like Perez the most likely of the three DL'd LH SPs to be effective this season. Holland perhaps. Harrison may have a tough time until he gets velocity back or becomes a completely different pitcher.
