I would like to see Choo less. Like I said before I do not have anything against him I just want to see our young guys out there. If we are going to play two older guys then I would pick Pence.
Since we are out of the hunt, I don't see the point playing either. The future has no interest in them and younger kids are waiting to make their mark.

Twins announcers cannot believe we sent Trevino home. They also commented that was the 4th runner thrown out between 3rd and home in the series. Beasley really messed up on that with 0 outs.

That is 2 plays that Rosario should have made and didn't. The Twins were fortunate. But plays like that, the one that was not that difficult on a grounder by Polanco in the 1st and then not turning the DP on the very next batter that would have ended the inning shows just how important defense is. This is not just an offensive game.

Really can't believe the Twins did not challenge that ball hit by Cron. They would have another run on the board by now.

Unfortunately as far as the near future(next season) we are stuck with Choo's $21M 2020 cap hit unless we do something this off-season and I don't see the ownership being willing to sit him on the bench and pay that.

Stuck with Choo, stuck with odor, decision time on Mazara approaching.

I’ll probably be glad when all 3 of them are no longer rangers.

But until ownership and JD accept that our best move is to move on and rebuild we are stuck in limbo between adding FA's and continuing with the rebuild.

So our best hope is that they somehow get it thru their heads and take whatever they can get for them this off-season even if in Choo's and Odor's cases it means paying half of their remaining contracts.

Even doing that doesn't mean there would be much interest in either of them

Both Burke and Palumbo will be pitching against the Angels this week. Allard as well.

Should be interesting to see how the kids do against a good lineup.

I’m ready for September callups at this point. Bring them on. Would be nice to see more solak and less odor in the final month.

I want to see some of our young positional players get sufficant playing the rest of the season and next season. Players like White, Solak, Heineman, Granite, Tavares etc should be out there for the rest of the season. But we will continue to plug along with DDJ, Forsythe, Odor, Mathis, Choo etc

After September call ups,

That doesn’t make any sense at all. I expect to see some changes when the kids get up here.

Think we have roster moves to make so to let young guys play mean some guys will have to be released

Maybe you will maybe you won't. I think the ones we call up will get the occasional playing time and spend most of the time sitting on the bench

Can't believe we are playing a day game in the middle of August in Texas.
