at a time when we should be looking at prospects i just think it is dumb to bring in someone who doesn't have any future with the team

Bet we could get starting pitching depending upon need but are these guys winning pieces?

To me Lowe at DH is developing into an elite bat

He had to be totally embarrassed on that missed popup last evening

i wasn't totally serious about trading either. should have used the green font. i don't see the Rangers actually trading anyone significate this off-season. think we sign some relief pitchers at least 2 maybe 3 with 1 being an actual closer and of course Martin and that's it.

Can we afford to rid the team of such hitting? Think not. If he continues remainder of 2022 then consider him our DH. We have to remember replacing him would not be easy and why when we do not have to. He is not the only player/players we have to trade of high value.

the problem is that i don't think the Rangers are ready to give up on Garver so i expect that Garver will spend a lot of time at DH in 2023 so Lowe would probably have to spend most of the time at 1B.

think we will probably see a lineup of Semien 2B, Seager SS, Lowe 1B, Heim C, Jung 3B, Garcia RF, Taveras CF, Thompson/White LF & Garver DH. Bench would probably be Mathias UIF, Wendzel IF & ? at backup C.

he would get time at C and 1B. plus he would be under Arbitration for next year so he would be a cheap 1-year option so would not affect the future of the Rangers.

Starting pitching and Bullpen should be our main focus this off-season after we re-sign Martin Perez
